So I know the assignment is to read and respond on "Searching for Truth". Unfortunately I have no idea what this man is talking about. When I first read it I thought it was a reporter who wrote this article, and honestly, I was mad. I didn't understand why a newspaper would publish this let alone hire this person to write. But when I realized it was a letter to the editor I felt a little better. I feel like this man wrote this with a thesaurus next to him so he could sound smarter than he is but, Mr. Hopkins, IT BACKFIRED! Not only did your letter make absolutely NO sense but rather than sounding smart you sounded really stupid. I'm sure he was mad about something and that's why he wrote this letter. But as a reader I couldn't tell you what this is about. I almost feel like the editor read this letter, laughed, and then published it.
